Editorial – Anais' Fall Harvest

The launch of The Folklore has sparked interests in the culture of the company and its intent to connect Africa with the fashion world by showcasing designers from the beautiful continent and its diaspora. The latest editorial was curated to exhibit some of The Folklore's best selling statement pieces. The garments and accessories featured hold individual and unique characteristics that are more than distinctive. The contemporary style and aesthetic of The Folklore is depicted through the work of the designers we showcase.
.
Model Anais Lorde (State Management) was captured by New York based photographer Amandla Baraka in brands from South Africa (Selfi, Pichulik, Waif), Nigeria (Nyosi, Onalaja), and New York (Elle Est...). New York stylist Sakinah Bashir put together looks using The Folklore's best selling items to curate an aesthetic that embraced the Fall while acknowledging the transitioning weather. This editorial celebrates October's Fall fashion harvest.
